The event organised in Tirana was attended by approximately 100 young people, eager to learn more about the inspector opportunities with the TAP project. Quality Control Manager Richard Yves Anstey presented the TAP project, underlined the high-standards followed and described the working environment of an international company specialising in the energy field. He explained in detail the career path that should be followed, through special training programmes, in order to start working as an inspector for TAP.
By June 2017, TAP expects to complete the selection process for all Albanian inspectors, bringing the total number to 16.
Two of the current Albanian inspectors shared their stories, detailing their experiences and achievements, and how TAP has enriched their professional lives. Many participants expressed their interest in attending further training and becoming field inspectors.
Through this workshop and information session TAP aims to involve young Albanians as much as possible in the project so that they can benefit from the working experience for one of the most important energy projects in Europe. The investment in training inspectors will be part of TAP's legacy in Albania.
