Potom Commune

23 June 2014

In this isolated area of Albania, TAP contractors were carrying out Census and Assets Inventory surveys with a team of professors from the Agricultural University of Tirana. One day, they stopped at a village bar to have lunch.

The owner immediately recognised the professors, as his son was a student at the university. He took the opportunity to raise questions about the project, as well as his son’s progress. The team was very happy to answer both!

The remote community appreciated having their queries answered personally, and to have the opportunity for interaction with professionals working on the project. It made them feel part of the process and reinforce their feeling that, thanks to TAP, ‘life is coming back’ to their village.
