The internship programme aims to support students’ career goals and help them succeed beyond the university auditoriums. The first and second rounds showed that this programme is increasingly acting as a stepping stone towards participants’ employment. More than 70% of the students who took part in TAP’s internships programme are currently employed.
During the third round, TAP Albania is looking for seven internship positions in:
- Social and Environmental Investment (CSR)
- Land Management
- Health and Safety
- Communications (PR & Marketing)
- Social Expert
The internship programme is an excellent way to gain valuable working experience in the various departments of the organisation. The selected interns will be involved in on-going projects, which are specifically designed and suited for their interests and abilities. The interns will be guided by experienced and dedicated mentors and supervisors during their time with TAP.
“TAP gave me a flavour of the working environment one should aim for. I was lucky to be around people who always taught me something new, while working for a unique project in Albania. The field trips in the communities along the pipeline route and the extensive knowledge imparted by the Social and Environmental Investments (SEI) team made me see things from a tangible perspective. I was able to see first-hand the potential for Albania. Following this experience, I have higher standards on what to expect from a working environment.” said Denada Krosi, intern during the second internship round in TAP’s Social and Environmental Investments department.
TAP aims to identify, attract and possibly retain the best qualified candidates for the internship programme, and help them develop their careers. The applicants must be university graduates (Bachelor’s degree completed) or enrolled in a Master’s programme, relevant to the internship area. Interested students can submit their applications for a six-month internship at TAP until 25 February 2018.
The internship programme is part of TAP’s legacy in Albania. TAP will continue to invest in enhancing the skills, knowledge and abilities of local human resources, especially young professionals in the energy industry.
